Government Out of Control ?

Kathie Price and her family are being harassed by Clackamas County officials simply for owning 5 dogs in a rural area.  They are forcing her to give up 2 of her dogs to be killed.   Other neighbors have more dogs but they do not have to give up theirs.  Still other neighbors have many more animals, particularly farm animals.  The Price family lives in a RURAL area on 19 acres.   So what is the problem?

This precedent-setting case is really over government's ability to arbitrarily and selectively confiscate one person's property WHEN NO CRIME HAS BEEN COMMITTED just because they feel like it.  This SHOULD be a violation of equal protection clauses of the Oregon State and US Constitutions.  Will they get away with it because no one cares?

Other high profile cases have been over issues such as dog chasing, damage to livestock and the like.  This landmark case is over the right to own a dog and government's ability to harass an individual citizen.  If Kathie loses, WE ALL LOSE.
